Leewald Resophonic guitars are the choice for players who want a distinctive, penetrating tone and a typical "metallic" character that won't get lost in a band. The principle of the resophonic guitar is based on metal resonators (cones) that convert the vibrations of the strings into a loud and colorful sound – which is why the metal body and precision workmanship are so important.

Each instrument is hand-built, and with the brass models, we focus on the strong and colorful sound that is typical of our Brass series. We use original "Czech Made" hand-pressed resonators and pay attention to top-quality assembly and final tuning so that the guitar responds reliably, stays in tune, and plays to its full potential right from the start. For even broader sound possibilities, our own Duotone System is available on selected models, giving the instrument additional character and possibilities for use in different playing styles.
